I have studied many books including:Quality Food Plots: Your Guide to Better Deer and Better Deer Hunting and the Ultimate Deer Food Plots published by the MNid-Michigan Branch of QDMA. These books have widened my knowledge about food plots.

I've also attended various food plot seminars as well as put on my own QDMA seminar. The "Food Plot Field Day" consisted of information on seed varieties, soil composition and planting techniques.

I have managed my own land for about 6 years where I have learned the dos and don'ts of food plots. Together we are going on our fourth year of commercial food plots.

I have direct experience working in landscaping for about 3 years before persueing a bachelors degree in Wildlife Ecology and Research Management. I will be graduating in May of 2009, when I would like to start my practice as a Wildlife Consultant.

My internship experience with the Spooner,WI DNR helped to shape my understanding of wildlife management practices and techniques.

I have volunteered my time to speak about wildlife management at the local high school, as well as hosted a QDMA (Quality Deer Management Association) food plot seminar.
